At St. Paul's Lutheran School,  Early Childhood Education focuses on core skill sets blended with the Word of God .

Our students strengthen their wings each day in the classroom and learn to soar!

Three-Year-old Class

This age group will focus on developing the three-year-old’s social skills, language skills and small/large motor skills.

For many children, this is a period of transition between family and the outside world.  To expand their social growth, very basic rules for relating to others in the group are stressed such as learning names of classmates, safety habits and learning the daily classroom routine.

Weekly themes are introduced in the classroom along with the concepts listed below:

 ·         Letter recognition and Sounds

 ·         Number Recognition and Counting

 ·         Shapes and Colors

·         Fine Motor Skills

·          Music, Movement and Gross Motor Activities

·          Health, Safety and Nutrition

·         Arts and Crafts Activities Exploring a variety of

techniques

·         Literature Based and Language Arts Activities
